Lisa Out Loud!

Dear Parents, Friends and Families,

Well what a fabulous start to the term. It was so exciting to walk through classrooms last week, to witness the engagement of students and staff in new topics and learnings.

This term we have many visitors scheduled to visit our wonderful school and I can’t wait to share with them the learning our students and teachers are engaging with. During these visits, our colleagues will be walking through our spaces to witness for themselves the terrific work happening in our school and of course to speak with our children about their learning! We look forward to sharing this great community with as many people as we can.

A quick reminder that we have our Grandparents Liturgy on Wednesday 2nd August, at 9am. You are all welcome to come and join us in the Church to celebrate the gift Grandparents are to us. You are also invited to visit the classrooms afterwards. We experienced so much joy when we shared with you our end of term Celebrations of Learning and would like to continue offering you opportunities such as these!

Last week we welcomed two new members to our wonderful community:

Welcome Charli in Year 2 - Stage 1 and Oliver in Kindergarten! You and your families are very welcome and we look forward to seeing your smiles everyday at OLN!

We will hopefully have a new format for the Newsletter from the next issue! Please be patient with us as we endeavour to make the School Newsletter more engaging and relevant to our community. If you have any feedback, suggestions or newsworthy stories, please email the school!

I would like to leave you with a final thought for you to carry into the week:

We are in this together!

If you ever have any questions or concerns about your child’s education, please talk to us. For our community to continue to grow, we need to continue working together and that relies on clear, open communication and transparency! We are in this together!

Let us always remember the ‘light’ we are and can be to others and appreciate the ‘light’ others are to us.

Thank you all again for everything you give to our community every day!

With sunshine,

Lisa Samojlowicz
