Year 6 Graduation News & Fundraising for Julian Cadman

On Wednesday 13th December our school community will gather together for our end of the year and Year 6 Graduating with mass, celebrated with our Parish Priest, Fr Paul.

In previous years, Year 6 have celebrated their graduation at a night mass which our whole school community was not part of. This year, we are very excited to offer our whole school community the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution that our 2017 Graduating class has made to Our Lady of the Nativity.

In following tradition, after mass we will gather together in the school hall to watch a pictorial  presentation celebrating the journey of our Year 6 students. This has always been a highlight for our Year 6 students and this year the whole school will be invited to be part of the viewing.

At the conclusion of the viewing the Year 6 students and their families will be provided a beautiful morning tea.

I invite you to put this date in your diary: Wednesday 13th December (Week 10 Term 4).

We will be joining our Parramatta brother and sister schools in a fundraising effort for Julian Cadman's family next Thursday the 21st.

In memory of Julian Cadman, a Year 2 student of St Bernadette’s Primary Lalor Park who was tragically killed in the attack on Barcelona,we are asking our OLN community to make a gold coin donation for the Cadman family. While other schools within the diocese will be dressing up as superheroes for a gold coin donation, we will be writing prayers for the Cadman Family to compile into a book that we will send to the family. We are asking students to bring in a gold coin donation which will be sent with our book of prayers this Thursday 21st September.

Let us reach out to others to let them know we care!
