Mission is filling the gap with love!

Last Friday Mrs Samojlowicz and I had the pleasure of taking our Mission Team, Alira Benson, Claudia Wedesweiler and Mirabella Camilleri, to St Patrick’s Cathedral in Parramatta, for the 2017 Mission Mass and Expo.

Our team presented and shared the amazing work they have done this year for Mission and Evangelisation. Congratulations to our girls for all their hard work and for making their ideas become a reality at our school. Most importantly, thank you girls for making a difference and helping those in our community who need it most!

The final goal for the Mission Team is to prepare Christmas Hampers for the Saint Vincent de Paul Society’s Christmas Appeal. I am sure that our very generous community at OLN will continue to support the Mission Team. Stay tuned for more details!

2017 Year 6 Graduation

On Wednesday 13th December our whole school community will gather together for our End of Year Mass and Year 6 Graduation, celebrated with our Parish Priest, Fr Paul.

In previous years, Year 6 have celebrated their graduation at a night mass which our whole school community has not been part of. This year, we are very excited to offer our whole school community the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution that our 2017 Graduating class has made to Our Lady of the Nativity.

In following tradition, after mass we will gather together in the school hall to watch a pictorial  presentation celebrating the journey of our Year 6 students. This has always been a highlight for our Year 6 students and this year the whole school will be invited to be part of the viewing.

At the conclusion of the viewing the Year 6 students and their families will be provided with a beautiful morning tea.

I invite you to put this date in your diary: 9:30 am Wednesday 13th December (Week 10 Term 4).
