At the end of last term, Dominic attended the CSNSW Athletics Championships and ran in the 1500m. He placed 3rd and has now made the next level, the NSW PSSA Athletics Championships in late October. Congratulations, Dominic - we are very proud of you!

We close Term 3 with heavy hearts as we continue to grieve the loss of Russell and Ben Smith. Our heartfelt thanks to all in our school and wider Blue Mountains community for your outpouring of love, support and prayers during this difficult time. On Wednesday we were able to come together at St Thomas Aquinas Parish to farewell and give thanks for the lives and love of Russell and Ben and remember the joy they brought to their family and friends. “They were happy and lively boys with infectious personalities and were much loved by all. Their passion for soccer was matched only by the way they cared for their friends, always ready with a joke, a smile, or a helping hand. Their absence is deeply felt, and they will be forever missed by all of us who had the joy of knowing them.” said Principal Matthew Bond. We wish everyone a safe and peaceful school holiday break. Our caring school will continue to honour the memories of Russell and Ben as we work on healing as a community. We look forward to sharing all the wonderful things that make our school special when we return in Term 4.
